Hello! Guess what?!?!? I am going to India! It has been my dream since 7th grade to go on a marvelous adventure such as I will embark on shortly. I am going to be helping and working with a village in Rajasthan to build a school, well, or health center. It is a hand up, not a hand out. I AM SO EXCITED!! Thank you all that have donated. FINE RAIN...HEAVY PLOPPING DROPS AND SOFT RAIN THEY CALLED IT THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS...BRINGING WARM SOFT BREEZES...WARM SOFT AIR TO BREATHE IN  FROM HAWAII WHAT A JOY FOR OUR PARCHED SOIL AND WITHERED DRY PLANTS WASHING THE DIRT OFF OUR CARS.  MAKING THEM SHIMMER AND SHINE STEPPING OUT ONTO THE PORCH I CAN HEAR THE THUNDER OF THE FROG SONGS AND THE DRIP DRIP DROP OF THE RAINDROPS SPLASHING ON THE STREET THE WET PAVEMENT SHONE BRIGHTLY IN THE LIGHT OF THE STREET LAMPS THE MATS ON THE CHAIRS COVERED WITH BITS OF DIRT LEFT BY VISITING CATS WHO TAKE COVER FROM THE STORM I SHAKE ONE MAT ONCE...TWICE...THRICE... INSTANT SILENCE...THE FROG SONG STOPS AND I AM SAD. THE AIR IS COLD...I LOOK AROUND AND WAIT AND LOOK. Hello Beautiful people!!! Today was a sick day for my family and as tradition, we watched a lot of movies. I usually have to be doing things with my hands or mouth when I sit somewhere for a long period of time. That is why I like to eat during class or mold things with clay. Today I got inspired and made a sock mermaid! I wear out my socks a lot so I take the ones with holes and give them a new life. I just sniped and sewed. I added beads for the eyes and even made a bikini top for the mermaid. Let your imagination wonder your next sick day and make a sock creature! They make excellent gifts as well!
