Yesterday I had quite a wonderful interaction with some strangers, and I wanted to share them with you internet! I met a lovely man at the library. His name is David and he is probably around 90. I have seen him before about a year ago, and he and I chatted a bit and he was so quirky, interesting, and had a lovely slightly British accent. He told me today that I restored his faith in humanity. What an honor and complement. I thanked him, got his email, and will contact him shortly. I also met a lovely women at the Thrift Store who was a teacher at a local high school and was wearing bright blue eyeliner and had great style. She and I talked a bit and she was so nice and complemented me profusely. Then one of the workers at the thrift store told her how I was a good kid. She remembered my past purchases of children books for the kids I babysit, and then said good things about me. I am so lucky to live in such a wonderful, loving, and fantastic community.
