My Favorite Poem

Summertime lends itself to creativity, time, and creativity. So here is my favorite poem ever by Sara Kay. I did this poem for my school's poetry slam. It was beautiful. B (If I Should Have a Daughter) Instead of “Mom”, she’s gonna call me “Point B.” Because that way, she knows that no matter what happens, at least she can always find her way to me. And I’m going to paint the solar system on the back of her hands so that she has to learn the entire universe before she can say “Oh, I know that like the back of my hand.” She’s gonna learn that this life will hit you, hard, in the face, wait for you to get back up so it can kick you in the stomach. But getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air. There is hurt, here, that cannot be fixed by band-aids or poetry, so the first time she realizes that Wonder-woman isn’t coming, I’ll make sure she knows she doesn’t have to wear the cape all by herself. Because no matte

My Recent Adventures in Lighting

Recently I designed a lighting design for a short play written by my lovely and talented friend Britney. It was a wonderful experience and I loved painting the stage with light. It was beautiful and so magical. I am so grateful for everyone who taught me how to do this work. Thanks David. This new medium helped me express passion, love, anger, and all of the emotions we experience in our human existence, but through light waves. Which is crazy wonderful! I hope you enjoy these looks. It was so fun. Also shoutout to the costumes and props! AMAZING! Great job to John, Abby, Neil, Timmy, and Bianca. Thank you for being superb. Also thanks subconscious for giving me the idea to do this blog post!

School Ending and General Funtimes

School ends tomorrow, or today...I guess. It is 11:57pm on Thursday night. I just finished my Chem notecard after going through the fantasticalness of the day. I am sorry for not being on here too much in recent times. As I have said before this has been a very rough year for me. I am so lucky and blessed to have made it out with all limbs intact and some parts of me more seeded with wisdom than before. I will be back soon and will stock you guys up with more pics and poems and pieces of art for the summer! Aka best summer ever. For now I leave you with a fashion shoot of  a tired me and my notecard. I am so proud. To start the year end fashion show of them all let me introduce the model. Hannah is a tired human who is having her last exams tomorrow. Horray! She is suuuuuupppppeeerrr excited to be working tonight on this energy consuming project. The design, is an unfathomable magnificent piece of art dedicated to all the chemistry students out there. I feel you and oy as well.
